The National Co-op. Bank Ltd., in association with NPCI has launched the National Bank Mobile Banking facility for your optimum convenience.

IMPS (Mobile Banking):

What is IMPS?

  • IMPS stands for Interbank Mobile Payment Service.
  • IMPS is an instant interbank electronic fund transfer service through mobile phones.
  • Presently, there are 49 Private & Nationalized Banks & 24 Co-operative Banks using this service.
  • For Banks to participate in IMPS, they should have approval from RBI for Mobile Banking Service.
  • Our Bank has got permission to participate both as Remitter (Sender) & Beneficiary (Receiver).

What is the procedure for customer to start using National Bank Mobile Banking facility?

  • Customer should get registered for Mobile Banking by filling the registration form.
  • On successful registration, customer will be provided with ‘Login Pin’ & ‘Transaction Pin (M-Pin)’
  • A 7-digit number called MMID (Mobile Money Identifier) will be generated for the account no./s registered for mobile banking.
  • The 'Login Pin' is for login into the Mobile Banking application
  • The default login ID of the customer will be their ‘Customer number’
  • The Transaction Pin (M-Pin) will be used by the customer while transferring funds using mobile banking application
  • MMID will be used by customer to received money in mobile banking.
  • Customer can download our Mobile Banking application from ‘Google Play Store’ or from the url https://mb.nationalbank.co.in/NationalBank/dl.do onto their mobile phone.

Install & run the application. A login screen will come with the following details: Customer ID: (Please enter your customer id. for which your mobile banking is linked) Login PIN (4 Digit Number): (Please enter the 4 digit Login Pin you have received)

On successful login, you will receive the following options:

  1. Immediate Payment Service (IMPS)
  2. Account Balance
  3. Last Five Transactions
  4. Services
  5. Change PIN

1) Immediate Payment Service (IMPS): on selecting this, you will receive the following options:

  1. Fund Transfer – To Mobile Number
    Using this option, you can transfer funds from your account to another person’s account in our Bank or another Bank which is registered for mobile banking. For using the option, both the sender & receiver should be registered for mobile banking with their respective Banks. On selecting this option, your linked account no. will be displayed. On selecting the account no. the following will be displayed on the screen: Enter Beneficiary Mobile No.: (Please enter the receiver’s 10 digit mobile no.) Enter Beneficiary MMID: (Please enter receiver’s 7 digit MMID which the receiver have shared with you). Enter Amount: (Enter amount you want to transfer) Remarks (Special characters Not Allowed): This is an optional field Please select ‘Next’. It will display the entered details. It will ask for Transaction PIN (4 Digit Numeric): Please enter your Transaction Pin (M-PIN) & select ‘Transfer’. The amount will be instantly transferred to the receiver’s account.*
  2. Fund Transfer – To Account Number
    Using this option, you can transfer funds from your account to another person’s account in our Bank or another Bank which is registered for mobile banking. For using this option, the customer need not be a mobile banking registered customer, but the customers’ Bank should be registered for mobile banking. On selecting this option, your linked account no. will be displayed. On selecting the account no., the following will be displayed on screen: Beneficiary Account No.: (Please enter the receiver’s 15 digit account no.) Beneficiary IFSC: (Please enter receiver Bank’s IFSC code which the receiver have shared with you). Enter Amount: (Enter amount you want to transfer) Remarks (Special characters Not Allowed): This is an optional field Please select ‘Next’. It will display the entered details. It will ask for Transaction PIN (4 Digit Numeric): Please enter your Transaction Pin (M-PIN) & select ‘Transfer’. The amount will be instantly transferred to the receiver’s account.*
  3. IMPS Merchant Payment
    This service allows customers to make instant, 24*7, interbank payments to merchants or enterprises via mobile phone. On selecting this option, your linked account no. will be displayed. On selecting the account no., the following will be displayed on screen: Merchant Mobile No.: (Please enter the merchant’s 10 digit mobile no.) Merchant MMID: (Please enter merchant’s 7 digit MMID which the merchant have shared with you). Amount: (Enter amount you want to transfer) Reference (Special characters Not Allowed): Please enter the merchant reference no. (e.g. if you are making Airtel mobile bill payment, you have to enter ‘AIRTEL ’). Please select ‘Next’. It will display the entered details. It will ask for Transaction PIN (4 Digit Numeric): Please enter your Transaction Pin (M-PIN) & select ‘Transfer’. The amount will be instantly transferred to the merchant’s account.*
    * For amount upto Rs.5,000/-, this is the last step after which the amount will be credited into the receiver’s account. If the amount is above Rs.5,000/-, then one ‘OTP’ will be generated & SMS sent to customers registered mobile no. which they have to enter for completing the transaction.
  4. Generate MMID
    This service allows existing mobile banking customer to add new account for mobile banking & generate MMID for that account. On selecting this option, the following screen will be displayed. Account No.: (Please enter the account no. for which you want to generate MMID). Enter Transaction PIN (4 digit numeric): (Please enter your Transaction Pin (M-PIN). Select ‘Generate’. Your new account will be linked for mobile banking & MMID will be generated for that A/c.
  5. Retrieve MMID
    The option allows the customer to view all their linked accounts & their MMIDs
  6. Cancel MMID
    This service allows customers to remove any linked account from mobile banking. On selecting this option, the linked accounts will be displayed. Please select the account which you want to remove from mobile banking & select ‘Next’ after which the account will be removed.

2)Account Balance On selecting this option, your linked accounts will be displayed. On selecting the account, the account balance will be displayed on the screen.

3)Last Five Transactions On selecting this option, your linked accounts will be displayed. On selecting the account, the last five transactions in the account will be displayed on the screen.

4) Services On selecting this option, the following menu will be displayed:

  1. Cheque Book Request
  2. Hotlist Card
  3. Cheque Status
  4. Stop Payment
  1. Cheque Book Request:
    On selecting this option, the linked accounts will be displayed. Please select the account for which you want to request new cheque book. The cheque book request for that A/c. will be generated.
  2. Hotlist Card:
    This option is provided to customer to hotlist (or block) their ATM card in case it is lost or stolen. On selecting the option, your ATM card no. will be displayed. Please select the card & select ‘Next’. You will receive message, ‘Your Card has been hotlisted successfully’ after which your card will be blocked for further transaction.
  3. Cheque Status:
    This option is provided to the customer to check the status of any cheques issued by them. On selecting this option, the linked accounts will be displayed. Please select the account no. A screen will be displayed asking for the following detail: Cheque No.: (Please enter the 6 digit cheque no. for which you want to check the status). Please select ‘Status’ option. The status of the cheque will be displayed on screen.
  4. Stop Payment:
    This option is provided to the customer to stop payment of any cheques issued by them. On selecting this option, the linked accounts will be displayed. Please select the account no. A screen will be displayed asking for the following detail: Cheque No.: (Please enter the 6 digit cheque no. for which you want to stop payment). Remark (Special Characters Not Allowed): (Please enter the reason for which you want to stop payment for that particular instrument). Please select ‘Next’ Option. The instrument will be marked for stop payment.

5) Change PIN

Using this option, you can change the Login Pin & Transaction Pin (T-Pin). For changing the PIN, please enter the existing PIN & the new PIN & select ‘Next’. Your PIN will be changed.

How to receive Money through MMID (for mobile banking registered customers)

  • The customer should share their mobile number and MMID with sender.
  • Ask the sender to send money.
  • Customer will receive instant SMS confirmation on receiving the money.

How to receive Money through IFSC (for non-registered customers)

  • Ask your customer to share their 15 digit a/c number and Bank’s IFSC code with sender.
  • Ask the sender to send money.
  • Customer will receive instant SMS confirmation on receiving the money.

  • The per day limit for sending money through Mobile Banking is Rs.50,000/-.
  • There is no provision for stop payment in Mobile Banking.
